Early Life
David Drew Pinsky was born in Pasadena, California, on September 4th, 1958. David grew up in a Jewish family because his father was a Jew whose parents had emigrated from Ukraine. His mother was born into a wealthy Philadelphia family and used to be a singer and actress. Dr. Drew later declared that, despite his Jewish heritage, he had abandoned most Jewish rituals. Nonetheless, he still considers himself a Jew and is fascinated by the religion from an intellectual aspect.
Relationship
Pinsky married Susan Sailer in 1991, and they have two children. The couple welcomed triplets into the world in 1992.
Health Issues
Drew made the public announcement in 2013 that he had successfully recovered from prostate cancer. That same year, he underwent surgery, which was a success. He didn’t have to go through any form of chemotherapy or radiation treatment as a result of this.
Dr. Drew Pinsky was one of the numerous persons who got Covid-19 during the epidemic, according to reports in 2020. He had earlier referred to the virus as a “press-induced panic,” which was ironic. Despite what he described as “severe symptoms,” he eventually stated that he was on the mend.
